About me
Ms. Nancy S. Brownell is a fourth-generation Californian with a Bachelor's in English and a Master's in Educational Administration. She began her career as a Special Education teacher and later served in roles including English teacher and K-12 literacy administrator. Currently, she is the Vice President for Educational Partnerships at WASC, working with schools in California, Hawaii, Guam, and internationally. Ms. Brownell previously worked as a Senior Fellow for Common Core Systems Implementation, collaborating with the California Department of Education and State Board of Education on K-12 standards and accountability systems.
