About me
Monica Vaughan has devoted over 30 years to supporting students in alternative school settings, working as a teacher, site administrator, and central office administrator promoting educational options for our most vulnerable students. For the past 10 years, she has served as Senior Chief of Schools, overseeing Alameda COE’s court, community, and county-operated charter school programs. Monica is a past Chair of California County Superintendents’ County Operated Student Programs (COSP) and she now serves on the executive committee as a legislative representative.
