Jamie Gonzalez Kohns is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Behavior Specialist at the San Diego County Office of Education, where she has served since 2020. With nearly two decades of experience in education, Jamie specializes in supporting students with behavioral challenges and empowering school staff to implement effective strategies for addressing challenging behaviors. She spent 10 years at the San Diego Center for Children, a Non-Public School (NPS), where she worked with students with complex needs and collaborated with educators to improve classroom dynamics.
Jamie places an emphasis on the use of data collection and analysis to guide interventions, measure progress, and inform decision-making. Her work is focused on equipping staff with actionable strategies to foster positive outcomes for students and staff in the school setting.
