About me
Amy Smith is a Mental Health Manager within the Special Education Department at the Orange County Department of Education, Alternative, Community, & Correctional Educational Schools and Services (ACCESS) program. Amy has 20 years of experience working within the ACCESS program as a School Psychologist within the juvenile court and community school programs. Her focus is collaborating with educators, probation, social services, mental health and community programs to provide an exemplary educational experience for all students. Her goal through these partnerships is to cultivate resilience and develop the personal skills in both our youth and educators, empowering them to succeed in their pursuits.
